"Deselect all" option in DC worksheet for Safety relevant column

Hi Jan,

I have a customer working on FMEDA. When they create DC sheet for Safety requirement of module, complete BOM is already marked with Safety relevance. It takes lot of time to remove or uncheck safety relevance for them it seems, and they are looking for something like “Deselect all”.

Is there a script to have this option of Deselecting all?

Sure. You have to consider the selection, I propose to simply check it and exchange the finder like this:

if (selection && selection.length == 1) {
 // support at least single selection
 finder = Global.getFinder(selection[0]);
}

...

There plenty of other articles here that deal with the selection, just search for "selection".

That's correct Eckhardt, will take this point to the customer.

Thank you Jan, and is it possible to modify the script by specifying the DC worksheet for which this “deselect script” applies for.

For example if they have multiple DC sheets for different modules and they wanted to call out this script only for a particular DC sheet?

I reduced the problem just to the scripting part :-)

and I did not consider "individual metrics", that would need another thought maybe.
