Profiling / Showing a list of block with their input/output ports

This is the continuation of Florents request. First the original question:

Finishing our discussing for being able to generate the list of blocs with their inputs/output ports we came to a solution where we can first derived a FMEA and then we can add a column of type derived. like :

In the model browser I have :

I succeed to list the port using :self.element.oclAsType(sysml::SysMLElement).the_owned_elements.oclAsType(sysml::SysMLFlowPortUsage)

1. I was wondering why if I removed oclAsType(sysml::SysMLElement) it does not work ?

2. If I use oclAsType(sysml::SysMLFlowPortUsage) to filter only port In Element 3 I should have port and I do not see it ? see the results when I do not have this filtering...

3. Last how to remove Element1:: in the name of ports ?

Florent,

if you use .oclAsType(sysml::SysMLFlowPortUsage) on a collection, and that collection contains flow ports but also AT LEAST one other element, the result will contain one undefined value. As far as I understand OCL, that will make the complete list undefined. You have to use a select statement like this:

self.element.oclAsType(sysml::SysMLElement).the_owned_elements->select(o | o.oclIsKindOf(sysml::SysMLFlowPortUsage))

Hi Florent,

all fine, thanks for asking, hope you and your family is fine as well.

Strange days we have...

* To 1.: the reason is that self.element is typed to EObject, so a base class which does not know anything about owned elements (OCL is strong typed)
* To 2.: I actually don't know and have to check myself ...
* To 3.: I think you just have to add ".name" at the end
