Access to button calculating failure rate of failure mode based on cause

Hello,

is the little tooth wheel button next to the failure rate fraction for each failure mode accessible by java script? Having a huge number of failrue modes and having to set the button for every single one agregating the failure rates of the causes is quite exhautive. Being able to set all failure mides of an element by a script would be helopful.

Hi Nils,

that should be feasible. The attribute "failureRateKind" of the failure mode has to be set to "DERIVED". So:

fm.failureRateKind = Metamodel.safetyModel.FailureRateKind.DERIVED;

However, the script should make sure that the owner of the failure mode has "Sum of failure modes" enabled.
