Question for Auto Updating of Requirements from Imported Excel File

Hello, this is Daehui Jeong in HancomMDS which is located in Korea.

Recently, we tried to update automatically of safety requirements using imported excel file.

But, safety requirements just added newly instead of updating exist one.

Of course that the id of requirement was not changed.

Belowed table and figure would show about this problem.

Hi Daehui Jeong,

the requirements import from Excel/CSV is indeed "just" an import, no round-trip support an update.

It simply imports whatever is inside the Excel.

A script to solve that should be feasible and we have a few examples here in the forum, like this recent one for importing and updating failure modes.

I propose that to take it and change it to import requirements.

There is at last a "findRequirement()" method in he finderEx.js library that may help.
