[Copy FR & FM] Copy Percentage of Parent

Hello,

I already wrote the support but the ticket is closed with a workaround that does not fit for me.

So, a script is necessary with whom I can copy in chapter 'prediction' the value percentage of parent.

Background:

As discussed in another topic I use the port function for modelling the pins of a connector or IC. I divide the whole FIT value of the component by the number of pins, e.g. 8-pin package -> every pin gets 12,5% of the total FIT value of the component.

Actually I have to click on every port select the mode 'percentage of parent' and type in the value.

My requirements to the function 'copy percentage of parent':

* Similar to the function 'Edit\ Copy failure rate' with additional selection the mode 'percentage of parent' and copying his value

* Selecting ports where to paste

here is a first script, it divides the 100% by number of ports, rounds to 6 digits.

Good Morning Jan,

yes your understanding is correct. E,g, there is a 42- pin connector -> every port/ pin gets 100%/42 = 2,38%.

Generally and for the future it makes sense to have this option included in the port creation script.

In my case I already created lot of ports, a script 'Split Parent Rate' is necessary. Equally dividing 100% by number of ports, as you assumed.
