Thanks to a script user, we recognized that the "SafetyInformation.compareAsil()" operations are not working correctly for scripting in R18.x and before. In order to compensate the problem and to support ASIL comparison to scripts, I wrote a simple JS library that offers similar if not the same functionality. The library ("iso.js") is attached to this article and has to be loaded by the script. There is a separate sample script that shows how to utilize the library. The library has some very simple self testing code inside, juts have a look if you are interested.
One note about the loading code:
var ISO = load(".lib/iso.js");
In contrast to other libraries that we have published here and earlier, the library does not define a certain JS object (a scriptable) but instead returns it so you can assign it to a variable of your choice. This will be the preferred way to write libraries in the future to avoid "spoiling" he scripting context with predefined variables.
Note that the library will be obsolete with R19.0.
