Writing Data into FME(D)A worksheet in Medini using scripting

Question

Hi,   To the best of my understanding, I find documentations only talking about finding and reading data from Medini.  But I wanted to understand if it is possible to write data into the fields of FME(D)A worksheet in Medini using scripting, if so how to develop such scripts.

Hi Jan Mauersberger, thank you for providing information and pointers to scripts for updating DC worksheets from excel using scripts, I will try this out.     Also, I am more interested
in updating the DC worksheet in the following method through scripting.  1. Update the property fields such as 'Causes and Effects' and SPF/LF fields of
     'Safety Mechanisms' of all the HW component failure modes.   2.  Once this is done, obtain all the HW
     component failure modes which were assigned with a particular
     Effect/Malfunction (say MF001), the below actions are to be performed
     on the HW component failure modes obtained.   3.  Identify if a Safety Mechanism was assigned to
     SPF field or LF field of 'Safety Mechanisms' in the properties and
     Evaluate the HW component failure mode to 'Violate the Safety Goal'
     accordingly (violates SPF/LF) in DC worksheet.   4.  The DC worksheet is enabled with
     "Individual Metrics" and the Safety Goals needs to be selected
     for all HW component failure modes which are evaluated to 'Violate
     the Safety Goal'. Therefore, a predefined set of Safety Goals are to be assigned for
     all these HW component failure modes in the DC worksheet.

Hi Santosh,     you of course can also manipulate data, so write into any object in medini, including DC worksheets.
