Recovery of MPRX file

Question

Hello,  one of my team member working locally mprx file  and continuously he saved file bu not expoted mean while his PC got restarted and opening same file but content.was missed   please letus know how to solve the issue

Hi Marian,  The (first) reason for a project to be "Broken" is normally written in the log files. You can have a look at them by opening the "Error" view.     That it happened to you a couple of times is concerning. Did you report that on a ticket, so that somebody from the Ansys team looked into it? I would recommend that for such cases, as we cannot generally resolve them via hints, it's mostly something individual.     Regards,  Nils

Hi,  Would it be possible to at least list the criteria that are causing marking the project as "Broken".  I had it happening couple of times. If I am not mistaken then currently the only information that is showed as a hint is the icon and some text popup with some generic statement. Would it be possible to at least in debug mode show the reason of the failure or the condition that is the root cause?     Regards,  Marian

Hi,     Sidramappa opened a ticket and we closed this issue. In many cases we can restore data from the used temporary folders, but in this case Windows deleted these during the reboot, so unfortunately we couldn't restore it.  As a general advise, please always make sure that you save your projects regularly and also have a backup-strategy in place (also for cases like disk crash, inadvertent deletion etc.).
