Failure Propagation Model

I just wanted to ask the following question: Is there a plan to include the Failure Propagation Model methodology in Medini Analyze?

Hi Samuel,  with Release 2023R1 we introduced the concept of Component Fault Trees (CFT) into medini. This allows to define for each component (type) a CFT specifying the (internal) propagation of failures from it's input(s) to the outputs(s). In an FTA model you can afterwards instantiate these CFT's one or multiple times and connect them according to the global failure propagation logic. You will have a tight connection between the architecture models and the FTA supporting a model based approach and also save time during creation of analyses for large models. Moreover, the FTA with CFT's improves also comprehensibility of large FTAs. Of course all analyses available for "classic" FTA (Cut-set calculation, probability calculations ,...) are also available for CFT based FTA. Let me know if you have further questions Eckhardt
