Filtering rows in DFMEA worksheet

Question

I saw that could be a similar topic already open but as far as i saw it simply explain how to filter empty items with simply ! on filter line.  I'm referring to filtering header row, i would like to hide multiple values relative to Focus element. This could be similar to" !((Item name 1)|(Item name2)|..."  Unfortunately this approach seems to be not effective, so i would appreciate some advice about it  Best regards

Well, that indeed does not seem to work. Since a while you can also use & in addition to | but that does not solve your issue either. Last option is to use a regular expression, so prefix your input with regex: and than put an arbitrary expression and combine it with negation ! (negation inside a regex is nasty). So  regex:(A)|(B)    Will match A and B while   !regex:(A)|(B)   will match anything but A and B     Jan
