Insert tables in requirements description

Question

Hi,  to improve the readibiity of some safety requirement, i'd like to insert some parameters in a table and insert it in the description field.  I've seen there is no built in capability to create tables (like in Doors), is there a smart way to do so?  My first guess was to create a table with some ASCII table generator (using | and other character as separator , like old school programming :) ) but then i've seen that the font uses not the same width for all character and the columns are not aligned. Well, we intentionally stick to plain text for these kind of important fields for quite some time. Main argument is here that offering rich text here opens the door to put semantics in the style, not the text. Best example is when users start to strike text through or mark it red to somehow imply a meaning. Anyway, I understand that sometimes this is still wanted.     You may add custom attributes  that support rich text (see for example https://medini.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/1000101677) or you can change the standard text font of eclipse to a font with fixed width.
