Can the selectable elements be preconfigured?

Question

Hello,     Is it possible to restrict the elements that can be selected(be viewed) by the user-defined "reference properties" in profiling to those in the package or collection specified in the script? The reason why this kind of  restriction required is to avoid confusion when one analyst run into the large number of element selections. Before letting analyst do the work, customer wants to set up in advance which parts of the work can be selected and which parts cannot.     Best regards,

Hi Michi,     currently the filtering is based on the type of the referenced element only, other context information are not taken into account. Nevertheless it looks like a good idea to limit the scope for the selection in some cases.  One solution could be to use some naming/numbering schema for the elements in a project which helps to focus on the relevant elements in the selection dialog:  As shown in the example above, for the Technical Safety Requirements a prefix TSR is used - which can be applied as filter in the Selection Dialog.
